Thank you for visiting Spread Your Wings, a message with music drug awareness program.  My program is designed to help teens understand how abusing alcohol and drugs can affect their lives and dreams.  I believe that everyone has dreams, especially today's teens.  Dreams can be many things, a vision, a fantasy, or even a desired goal.  However big or small, all dreams are an important part of llife.  As an advocate for teens in today's society, I realize that many obstacles can get in the way of their dreams.  Learning that the abuse of prescription drugs and alcohol was among the leading causes of death among peers today was shocking.  I thought about my goals to become a professional singer and realized that my many successes have come from staying true to my dreams. 

   I realized from my own experience and others that most teens get bored and tune out of the traditional drug-training programs offered in school.  Teens tell me that they want something more entertaining.  For this reason, I designed my program around my original music performed in music videos mixed with a drug awareness and prevention message.  My message includes information from the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependency, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Florida Office of Drug Control and The Partnership for Drug Free Amercia.  I hope that my program reaches out to youth everywhere and sends my message, Tune Into Music and Tune Out On Drugs!
